se vi è capitato di dover installare microsoft .net framework per far funzionare una qualche applicazione, sarete probabilmente incappati nel problema dell' autologon disabilitato [ovvero: appena avviate windows vi trovate la schermata di selezione utente, invece di arrivare direttamente al vostro desktop].

microsoft .net framework purtroppo [alla microsoft son patacconi, ormai la notizia è arrivata all'ultima quasar del nostro piccolo universo] crea un nuovo account di nome asp.net machine ... per motivi di sicurezza [ !? :) ], ma facendo questo automaticamente abilita il welcome screen all'avvio, costringendoci a dover cliccare sul nome dell'utente per entrare in windows.

se il problema è asp.net machine, lo possiamo facilmente rimuovere con questa procedura:

cliccate su start >> esegui: nella finestra che vi appare scrivete regedit e cliccate su ok [regedit è una piccola funzione del vostro scadentissimo sistema operativo che permette di editare il registro: sconsiglio vivamente di smanettare nel registro perchè anche chi crede di saper cosa sta facendo combina serii guai; in questo caso, vista la necessità, eseguite scrupolosamente le istruzioni che seguono e scordatevi dell'esistenza di regedit non appena finito];

selezionate il percorso hkey_local_machine \ software \ microsoft \ windows nt \ currentversion \ winlogon \ specialaccounts \ userlist [ vi basterà cliccare man mano sulla lista ad albero: il + rappresenta una diramazione chiusa, se lo cliccate la apre e si trasforma in - ];

osservate che la finestra è divisa in due pannelli: nella sezione a destra cliccate col testo destro del mouse, selezionando nuovo >> valore dword. chiamate la nuova chiave "aspnet" e assegnatele valore "0" [zero] [virgolette escluse].

per tornare come prima eliminate la chiave creata selezionandola con il mouse e cliccando con il tasto destro. è più facile di quel che sembra. quando poi vorrete togliere i quadratini con la freccetta che segnalano che un'icona è un collegamento, e non un programma, chiedetemelo.

post scriptum: come è facile notare, questo articolo è stato letto numerose volte, ed è quindi un problema comune poco trattato sulla rete. perchè, sapete, mi chiedo sempre: "ma chi diamine verrà mai sul mio sito?! e che ci verrà a fare!?". però in questo caso mi rispondo "per una volta ne ho fatta una giusta". l'articolo è scritto per chi non sa tenere nemmeno il mouse in mano, quindi scusatemi per le lungaggini se siete parenti di kevin mitnick. qualora però vi fosse stato utile a risolvere questa noja, vi prego di ringraziarmi con due o tre click aggiuntivi: scegliete un annuncio pubblicitario nella barra laterale, posizionateci il vostro bel cursore sopra, e premete il tasto sinistro [ :) ] .
